Thank you to all the amazing people who donated to our Warner Way program! I would shout out to all of you, but I sent all the boxes straight to the office! I will send out another shout-out when we get close to running out! Thanks to the parents that called me out for not having volunteer opportunities that only require clicking on your phone! Lesson learned!

This Thursday, October 24 from 4:00 - 5:30, come enjoy some popcorn and conversation with Mr. Tim Bagby, our school Principal. Come and hear how the year is going, the vision for this school year, and view some data about our school.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22 will be picture retake day at Warner. This is an opportunity for anyone who missed having their picture taken the first time to get their picture taken. It is also an opportunity for anyone who wasn't thrilled with their first picture to take another one. Remember, no green shirts! See you tomorrow.

Our Native Pride Club assisted with Willow Gathering on October 3 in preparation for the Los Coyotes Gathering on October 5. We are very proud of our students who worked hard to serve their community most of the day. Our students also were enhanced in their knowledge of the our local heritag an culture. Thank you Ms. Vanessa for making this important day possible.

This past Friday our girl's volleyball team celebrated senior night with a three set victory over San Pasqual Academy. Over the weekend, we learned the team has earned a spot in the CIF playoffs. Congratulations to Coach Vanessa and our young ladie's for making all of us Warner Proud!

Parent Lunch Day 10/30/24

Attention Parents. Our Chihuahua Valley and Paradise Valley Bus is pulled over with a flat tire. The kids are safe. We are sending staff in vans to grab kids and start taking them home. Thank you for your patience.

This message is for the Los Coyotes, Sunshine Summit and Oak Grove families
We are down one bus driver this morning.
This means we will need to transition to vans for Los Coyotes. Mr Inocente's bus will pick up in Sunshine Summit and Oak Grove. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you to the many Warner families that came to our field trip to Julian Farms. Here are a few photos.

Warner's Pre K, TK and K spent a morning at Julian Farm and Orchards learning about apples and farm life. What a great way to start the fall season.

Hispanic Heritage Day at Warner. It was a joy to see our students enjoying the many gifts of this culture. Thank you Spanish Club for all your hard work and for all the great activities.

Come enjoy a fun night together on Saturday, October 26!

Happy Friday, Wildcats! Check out the news story that Warner's Journalism Class crafted on our Excellent English Page here: https://www.warnerusd.net/page/excellent-english-hs

One of our preschool families gave us these great school supplies to share. Thank you Bowman Family for these great educational tools. Note to teachers: These items will be available in the faculty lounge today.

Parents: Please see the latest Master Calendar for this school year.
Thanks, Warner USD

It's that time again! The weather is warm, your car is sandy, let the seniors clean it, then shake our hands, please:) Donations accepted. Come to the back of Warner High School on Monday, October 7th, 2024, between 3 and 4:30 p.m. to get your car washed by the senior class to support their class trip. Thank you, and we hope to see you there--at the car wash, yeah!

We had a teacher leave this year, and she did a scrapbook! I, of course, didn't want that to go away, so I did a search and found the cutest handprint monthly quilt square that can be made into a book!!! Did i think, hmmmm.....this might be hard! Oh no 🤦♀️ I am EXTRA! sigh! Every month is different!!!! TK2ROCKS!

It's been an eventful week at Warner! Next week, the seniors will begin reading their second Shakespearean play: Romeo and Juliet. Yesterday, we were fortunate enough to go on a tour of the Old Globe, which is located at the world-famous Balboa Park! We learned about theater, what a ghost light is, what a vomitorium is, how the outdoor stage works, how the zoo is so close to the outdoor theater that the peacocks occasionally come and join the show, which famous actors have played in Shakespeare's plays, we saw the Tony award won by the Old Globe (and our future Tony award winner, Anais, next to it:), we saw the costumes for the Grinch play being sewn and created as we watched, we saw the armory, we saw ducks, a model, enormous koi in the koi pond, and we learned that this theater is one of the rare few that has been the location where all of Shakespeare's plays have been performed (that's over 30 plays!). We walked, we learned, we awed, and we ate. We are thankful for the opportunity to visit such a place rich with culture and art. Thank you, Warner and the Old Globe!
