Attention Warner Families and Community, We have had a Board Position open up. If you are interested in applying for a position on the Warner USD Board of Education, the position will be filled through an application and appointment process. The requirement is that you attend board meetings once per month on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5 pm. All applications will be due April 1, 2025 at 3 pm. Applicants who qualify, will attend the next board meeting on April 8th at 6 pm where you will attend a question and answer session with current board members. The position will be filled via a vote of the board and appointment on the spot. Please contact the District Office and speak to Rhonda to get a copy of the application. Our new Latin American Culinary Arts class took a field trip to learn how to cook a Brazilian meal from a professional chef. The class has been cooking dishes from various regions in Latin America. This class is the first of a new Career Exploration offering at Warner High. Stay tuned for several new opportunities for hands-on Career Exploration on next year's High School schedule!

Good morning Warner families, In light of yesterday's earthquake we want to pass on some resources to help you prepare your household for a major earthquake, fire or other disaster. This Saturday at the Ranchita Fire Station, first aid kits will be available. First come first serve! Attached are some resources from CERT San Diego. Good morning families, We just had an earthquake. The kids are safe! A few are shaken up and were a little nervous. Most of our kids immediately got under their desks just as we practice all year long! We have checked the classrooms and gas and water lines and are heading back to our regular day. Stay safe! Warner/All Tribes Wildcat Softball is 1st in the league! They won all of their games this week and they are on a streak. Let's go Ladies!!

In our 7th grade science class, students have been learning about food webs, and our phenomena focus was on how in Yellowstone NP, you can spot hundreds of types of plants, but it is almost impossible to spot a wolf! Our class then visited the wolf sanctuary in Julian!!

Dear Parents & Guardians, Please make sure to sign and return your student’s field trip permission slip as soon as possible for the College & Career Fair on April 16th. If they do not return the permission slip, they will not be able to attend the event as it is held off-campus this year. This event is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore a variety of post-graduation pathways—including colleges, careers, and training programs. Also, you may have received a form if your child is currently enrolled in our new Credit Recovery program. We ask you to please read over the information and have your child return the agreement as soon as possible. This valuable addition to Warner Unified helps students who are falling behind by allowing them to make up failed classes and earn the credits needed for graduation. If you have any questions about the field trip or Credit Recovery, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We're here to support your student’s success!
