Good morning, Wildcats! On behalf of the Senior Class of 2025, I'd like to invite you to participate in the Warner Talent Show on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 4-6 p.m. See the flyer attached for details. Seniors will continue to visit classrooms this week with sign up forms, and we hope that you can share this Warnerful experience with us! The last day to sign up is Thursday, March 6th. A rehearsal schedule will be provided next week:) Thank you!

Good evening Warner families. We have a chance of snow tonight in some of our neighborhoods but it is supposed to end early in the morning. Attention Warner Families: We understand the progress has been stopped on the Scout Fire and the road is now open for one way alternating traffic. We anticipate this may delay buses by a few minutes on the 5 pm Afterschool southbound route. Please be at your stop early and thanks for your patience. Andrea Sissons Warner USD

Good afternoon Warner families, We are aware that there is a fire a few miles from school, just south of the S2 and that the 79 is closed at this time. The kids are safe at school for now. We hope that the fire will be contained and the roads will be open by the time Afterschool Program ends at 5 PM. We will update further when we can. Warner USD

Another exciting winter season has come and gone. The Boys and Girls won their league, both going undefeated. The boys made it to the second round and the girls made it to the semi finals for the second straight year. We are sad to see a wonderful group of senior graduates. They will leave behind a legacy of winning and competing at a high level. It was a great run for both programs this year. We are optimistic about next year's teams and ready to make a run for the D5AA Championship next year. Thank you parents for your support and allowing us to have the late practices.It made a big difference in our teams. To Brianna Brady for running our scoreboard Teresa Padilla, Veronica Chaparossa and the ASB team for helping us run our home games. Mrs Tiff and Mr. Bagby for staying late and being our on site administrator for our home games. Andrea Graham for helping with the girls team and to Mary Carslon for helping our boys team. We are also pleased to announce this year's Manzanita All League. Warner Girls Basketball 1st Team: Thea Rasse-Sr Sunla Ortiz- Sr Eileen Velazquez-Jr Alexi Holt-So 2nd Team: Gianna Norte-Sr Congratulations to Alexi Holt on being named Manzanita League Player of the year. Warner Boys Basketball 1st Team: Antonio Amado-Sr Anthony Porras- Jr 2nd Team: Raul “Jr” Martinez -Jr Johnny “Bear” Garcia-Jr Congratulations to Anthony Porras on being named Manzanita League Player of the year. And Coach Rico for being named Coach Of the Year.

Warner's After School Program will be celebrating Mardi Gras this Friday. Please stay between 1-3 to decorate and get ready. The parade will start at 3 on the playground, followed by games, music and snacks in the cafeteria. And it's free! No permission form required. Just sign into the after school program.

Warner Boys basketball fell in the second round to Escondido Adventist Academy 35-40. Thank you for all who came out to support our boys. They finished the season 14-6. The boys will be saying goodbye to two seniors Antonio Amado and Ayden Pulido. The core of the team who are mainly Juniors will be coming back next year to make another run.   Our girls won their second round game 60-3 and will be hosting a Semi-Final game for the second year in a row. The girls will be hosting #4 S.E.T. (School for Entrepreneurship and Technology) . This Tuesday February 25th at 7:00 pm. Come support our girls as they are one win away from the championship. 💚🖤🐾🏀

As we head into the post season we'd like to congratulate our boys and girls basketball team on an impressive season. It seems like each year we out do ourselves and this year was no different. First time victories over schools Ramona,San Pasqual ,and Holtville high school for the girls. First time wins for our Boys over San Diego Academy and Liberty Charter. This year was the first in school history that both boys and girls went undefeated in League at the same time. Girls have won their 3rd consecutive league title as the boys won their 2nd in a row. The girls basketball team (19-2) is on a roll winning 14 in a row (school record) earning the schools First ever #1 rank in the post season.They get a first round bye and will host Calexico Mission on Thursday February 20th at 5pm. The boys team (13-5) is also on a winning streak winning 9 in a row (school record) and are ranked #5 and will play their arch rival from Southern San Diego Oceanview Christian Academy in the 1st round. The Boys beat Oceanview Christian Academy today 39-33 to extend their winning streak to 10 and will advance to the 2nd round. The boys will play Thursday at Escondido Adventist Academy 7pm. Our Lady Wildcats started basketball season strong and have been able to keep up the momentum and energy to power their way into the CIF championships. Their latest victory was against Holtville with a score of 49-34. We're looking forward to the big W for both the boys and girls basketball teams this year!
